Introduction to Faculty of Applied Arts
The Faculty of Applied Arts (FAA) has been raised from the Department of Languages and Social Sciences, Faculty of Technical Education according to the National Higher Education Development Plan, phase 9 (2002 - 2006). The University Council has approved to set up the Faculty of Applied Arts on the 12th June 2002 aiming as the following:
- Manage and be responsible for teaching and learning in General Education courses, namely, Languages, Social Sciences, and Humanities which have been delivered in the King Mongkut's University of Technology North Bangkok. This is to lead to the same standard in terms of teaching and learning, material use, and measurement and evaluation.
- Expand the scope to produce graduate students in the fields of Languages, Social Sciences, and Humanities in accordance with the university and the faculty's philosophy.
